This yoga asana solves many problems, it is also a beginner level asana. Its benefits are more than doing it on an empty stomach in the morning, staying in this state for 5 to 10 minutes. It helps in regulating your blood flow. If there is no sleep at night or suffering from disorders like insomnia or depression, then this asana is very beneficial.
2. Balasana
Baal means child. This is a simple yoga asana which can be done by beginners too. This asana should be done on an empty stomach, do it for one to three minutes. It is beneficial in releasing tension from the muscles of the waist, shoulders and chest, it also helps in reducing your anxiety and stretches your hips, thighs and ankles. It is also beneficial in calming your mind.
3. Supta- Matsyendrasana Yoga
This asana got its name after a yogi named Matsyendra who was a worshipper of Lord Shiva. Taking it on an empty stomach is beneficial in bowel activities. This must be done for half a minute. It provides massage to your waist and hips. Helps in bringing blood flow to the digestive organs by releasing all the toxins from your body. This asana also eliminates stiffness from the body.
4. Makarasana
It is called Makarasana because the pose made in it looks like a Capricorn. By doing this asana, the shoulders, waist are relaxed and there is a stretch in the hips. Do this only on an empty stomach. It is beneficial in relieving fatigue and regulating excessively high blood pressure. If knots are felt anywhere in the body, then they also get cured by this asana.
5. Shavasana
It is also a very good relaxing posture. In this posture, you have to lie straight on your waist and do not do any activity for some time. Shava means dead body and in this posture the body has to be kept like a dead body. This can be done at any time of the day. Do this for 5 to 10 minutes. It is beneficial in relaxing all your muscles. If you are suffering from blood circulation or neurological problems, then doing this asana can be of great relief.
We must take out some time daily for our body because nothing is more important than health. If you cannot do cardio or high intensity workouts, then you must do this easy yoga pose.
